WHAT’S INCLUDED IN 1:1 WORK? 

This is my most extensive package and it is meant to support you so that you can reach your health and wellness goals using a sustainable approach. No more quick fixes, we are focused on the long run here! This package takes a holistic approach to health and wellness, comes with monthly zoom calls, email access, check-ins, Flexible Food, Self Care Check-In, and a copy of each Wellness Foundations workshop. 

DO YOU GIVE MEAL PLANS OR HAVE STRICT REGIMENS?

Nopes, nopes, and nopes. Meal plans are quick fixes. I don’t know many people who can stick to one long-term. My goals when working with clients are related to supporting you on your journey to sustainability and a way of life. Given this, I’m upfront about not providing meal plans. We will work together to create food, exercise, and mindset goals, and problem solve for you to be able to do this on your own once we aren’t working together. 

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT TO GET WHEN WORKING WITH YOU?

This varies and truly depends on your goals and application. I’m here to help support you in your health and wellness journey. Eventually, the goal is to have you fly on your own and have less support. The biggest changes I’ve seen are focused on eating for health and enjoyment, healing mindset relationships with foods, decreasing inflammation, improving lab levels, and weight loss (if desired and needed). Optimal health, mental health included, associated with food has been the most common response gained from clients in 2024.

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU AS A FIRE DEPARTMENT?

The Cultural Shift Method focuses on changing the culture and making healthy lifestyles attainable for all. Continuous meetings and creating tailored programs have resulted in sustainable health and wellness changes that improve the health of firefighters now while setting them up for the future as well. 

Firefighters who have worked with me have become more aware of their food choices and how they impact their bodies; increased healthier cooking habits (while on a budget); and bettered their health. This filters into lower rates of nutrition-related health conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer; decreased sickness and absenteeism.

WHAT’S YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH FIRE DEPARTMENTS?

Experience-wise I’ve worked with the fire community for 10 years, contributed to Firehouse Magazine regularly for 8 years, and my program is eligible for various grant fundings.

To promote the Cultural Shift, I’m invested in your department’s success, which is why I only work with limited departments to build trustworthy relationships and tailor programs accordingly.
