Affirmations to Set You Up for Success

LEARN, LOVE

positive mindset

Gratitude gets a lot of attention for a grand reason when it comes to having a positive mindset and finding joys within the hard, which is why I like to personally incorporate it into my routine. (Outside of just Thanksgiving, ya feel me?) In addition to cultivating a sense of gratitude, practicing affirmations can create a positive mindset by allowing you to believe in yourself, from self-confidence to worth to work performance and more.

Affirmations are statements that might help you overcome negative feelings or self-sabotaging thoughts. Use them to express where you want to be or how you’d like to act. The idea is that with repeating affirmations, you’ll actually believe in them so that you can make the desired positive changes reflected within the affirmation.

I’ve gone back to some of my favorite Monday Mantras (if you’re an original Instagram follower you might remember these) to bring you some encouraging mantras and affirmations related to positive mindset and energy, you do you (individuality), confidence and worth, being kind to yourself, keeping the faith, and aspirations related to dreams, goals and inspo. Explore the themes that feel right to work through at this moment by purchasing a copy on the Mantra Workbook and diving deeper into reflection:

How we speak to ourselves matters

We tend to naturally be kind to others, yet somehow it might feel difficult to be kind to ourselves. Affirmations come from a place of speaking as if positive statements (about ourselves) are true. They showcase the power of our thoughts, as we understand that how we speak to ourselves, the stories that are told, or the interpretations that we have, are impactful.

Some common affirmation categories:

  • Confidence
  • Self worth
  • Abundance
  • Relationship with food
  • Relationship with others

Try it out:

Start talking to yourself in a positive light and overcome your fears and negative feelings by creating your own affirmations. Play around with some examples that are relevant to your overall health and wellness.

What’s an affirmation you’re currently using? I’m encouraging you to read, comment, and share with a friend so we can spread the word about my work in general and this message in particular!
